Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in data analytics, econometrics, mathematics, statistics, actuarial sciences, computer science, quantitative finance or related quantitative disciplines.
• Up to 1–2 years of relevant experience in credit risk or data analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with SQL, R, SAS and Python for data manipulation and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Analyse portfolio performance and credit risk trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Extract, manipulate and analyse data using tools such as SQL, R, SAS, and Python.
• Support regular monitoring and deep dives across retail credit portfolios, translating analysis into insights and recommendations.
• Assist in assessing changes to credit strategies, policies and processes and their potential impact on customers and portfolio risk.
• Assist with setting of credit risk appetite across Consumer Finance products.
• Develop and maintain risk reporting, dashboards and analytical tools to support decision-making.
• Consider changes in economic, regulatory and competitive environment when assessing portfolio risk.
• Collaborate with Risk Management and other functions on risk initiatives and projects.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Use AI-assisted and analytical tools to support efficient analysis, coding, documentation and insight generation.
