Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) South Eastern Section is seeking a Community Engagement Worker/Administrator in Lightning Ridge, NSW. The role supports delivery of community-based wellbeing and alcohol and other drug programs, coordinating events and partnerships in a rural setting.

You may be a recent graduate or studying, with an enthusiasm for helping rural communities. The role offers on‑the‑job learning and diverse activities across schools, communities, and service providers.

Qualifikationen

• A qualification in Community Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Health, or a related field, or currently studying towards one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Current Driver's License and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).

Aufgaben

• Support delivery of alcohol and other drug, wellbeing, and early intervention programs.
• Build relationships with schools, community groups, and local service providers.
• Assist with community events, workshops, education sessions, and engagement activities.
• Help increase awareness of available support services across the region.
• Collaborate with Mental Health Clinicians and team members to support positive outcomes.
