Job summary

Shepparton Automotive Group is seeking an entry-level Service Advisor/Warranty Clerk in Shepparton, VIC. No experience needed; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to develop skills in service administration and customer care.

This role focuses on welcoming customers, processing bookings, invoicing, and warranty claims while learning manufacturer procedures and warranty options. A current driver's license and strong communication ability are essential.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Basic experience in a customer service role is an advantage.
• Capable IT skills and ability to work with multiple programs.
• Confidence in dealing with customers and good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a busy, diligent team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for customers in the service department.
• Welcome customers on the day of their service.
• Complete training in reception, booking, invoicing, and warranty claims.
• Learn manufacturer service options, processes, and warranty procedures.
• Communicate with colleagues to schedule and complete repairs.
• Prepare repair orders, invoices, and process warranty claims.
• Update customer and warranty databases as required.
• Provide information and time-frames to customers regarding their vehicles.
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure warranty claims are processed correctly.
• Ensure compliance with warranty policies and procedures.
