Job summary

The Star Gold Coast is seeking an Entertainment Technician to support world-class events, live entertainment, and productions across audio, lighting, vision and staging systems. You will work hands-on to deliver seamless experiences for guests in a fast-paced casino and hotel environment.

We value problem-solving, strong technical skills, and a customer-focused approach to provide prompt AV support to guests, hotel operations, casino areas, and functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in audio visual, lighting or sound operations across live events and hotel/casino settings.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and ability to install and maintain AV systems.
• Customer-focused professional able to support guests, hotel operations, casino areas and functions with prompt AV assistance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible with availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in audio visual, lighting or sound operations, with the ability to support live entertainment, hotels, events, promotions, and operational activities across the property
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to install, operate, and maintain a wide range of AV equipment and systems
• A customer focused professional who can provide prompt and effective AV support for guests, hotel operations, casino areas, functions, and presentations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deliver high quality technical support in a fast paced environment
• Flexible with availability to meet business demands, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
