Job summary

The Star Gold Coast seeks an experienced Event Planner to bring extraordinary events to life at our world-class events centre. You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to execute intimate functions, corporate meetings, conferences, and celebrations with outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have led high-quality events in hospitality or entertainment, excel in relationship-building, budgeting, and vendor oversight, and can remain composed under

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering high-quality events, ideally within the hospitality, entertainment, or tourism industries.
• Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Strong project management capabilities, including event coordination, budget management, and vendor oversight, with a focus on seamless execution.
• Proactive thinking, problem solving, and staying composed under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Delphi, EventDraw, and Opera systems is highly regarded.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
