WaterNSW is seeking an experienced Domain Architect - Security to lead the future of our security architecture within the Digital Partnerships & Data team. You will embed security by design across applications, infrastructure, data and integrations, enabling a secure and compliant digital environment.

Reporting to the Strategy & Architecture Manager, this full-time permanent role requires strong enterprise security architecture skills, cloud and identity management expertise, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in IT/Cybersecurity/related field.
• Experience defining security architecture patterns, controls, guardrails across cloud, apps, infra, identity, data and integration.
• Knowledge of cyber risk management, standards, threat modelling, audits, and AI security implications.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce enterprise security frameworks and standards.
• Ensure security-by-design across applications, infra, data and integrations.
• Provide security input into solution design, testing and delivery; identify risks and mitigate.
• Assess AI security implications and support risk treatments with AI initiatives.
• Support audits and risk-closure processes with governance and compliance.
