Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Principal Security Architect to lead security architecture across a complex technology landscape. You will set strategic direction, shape reference architectures and partner with engineering, delivery and executives to secure solutions at scale.

You will drive AI-first security approaches, threat modelling, and automated assurance, while supporting major transformation programs and critical cyber capabilities across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Senior security architect with cross-domain expertise and strategic influence.
• Experience designing secure solutions and architecture patterns across complex tech landscapes.
• Automation and AI-enabled security practices are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own security target state, roadmap, patterns, standards and reference architectures.
• Provide hands-on security architecture and assurance for programs and platforms.
• Drive AI-first and automated threat modelling, policy-as-code and architecture-as-code.
