Job summary

face2face Recruitment is seeking an Information Architect to design, document and govern enterprise information architectures in Canberra, ensuring assets are structured and aligned with business objectives.

The role drives discovery workshops, develops taxonomy and metadata structures, and defines governance requirements. It requires strong stakeholder engagement and an understanding of regulatory obligations. On-site with a fixed-term contract and extensions, security clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise information architectures.
• Strong experience with information models, taxonomies, metadata and classification frameworks.
• Demonstrated information governance and information management experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
• Understanding of privacy, security, records management and regulatory obligations.
• Experience working with enterprise, data, solution and business architecture practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead information discovery workshops and assess current-state information environments
• Design information architecture frameworks, models, taxonomies and metadata structures
• Develop information classification and content structures
• Define integration, interoperability and information governance requirements
• Prepare architecture artefacts, governance recommendations and executive briefingsSupport implementation, Agile delivery, governance activities and knowledge transfer
