The Role

The Enterprise Data & Platforms Manager is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the stability, governance, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s core enterprise platforms. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will act as the custodian of a sophisticated Microsoft D365 ecosystem (CRM and Business Central) and emerging Business Intelligence (Microsoft Fabric/Power BI) capabilities.

This role balances strategic oversight with hands‑on technical delivery. You will lead a dedicated team to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, ensuring data is trusted, systems are secure, and insights drive impactful decision‑making across the organisation.

Key Areas of Focus

• Strategic & Operational Leadership: Execute the platform roadmap, manage budgets, and define the BI and analytics strategy.
• Technical Delivery & Governanc[e]: Provide hands‑on leadership in design and configuration while overseeing disciplined change control and release management.
• Data & Insights: Establish standards for data quality and semantic models, ensuring alignment between source systems and reporting outputs.
• People Leadership: Mentor and uplift the capability of the Enterprise Platforms Team in systems analysis and data modelling.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage high‑level vendor performance and partner with business leaders to drive platform adoption.

The Person

To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise and leadership maturity. You will have:

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and uplift capability in business analysis and documentation.
• Proven experience in Dynamics 365 (CRM/Business Central) and the Power Platform.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with experience in project management.
• A strong governance mindset and understanding of structured change control, data privacy, and risk management.
• A work history in the for‑purpose sector and/ or a genuine passion for community‑led outcomes and social impact.
