Job summary

City of Melbourne is seeking an experienced Enterprise Change Manager to join the Enterprise Planning and Change team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will embed change management practices across the organisation, partnering with leaders and project teams to drive adoption and sustainable outcomes.

You will develop enterprise change frameworks, design communications and training, assess impacts and monitor readiness to support continuous improvement across Council.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in enterprise change management, organisational transformation or project delivery environments.
• Qualifications or certification in Change Management or a related discipline.
• Experience developing and implementing change strategies, communication plans and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify change impacts, risks and opportunities.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships, influence stakeholders and work effectively across all organisational levels.
• Experience designing and facilitating workshops, training programs or capability-building activities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.

About the role

An opportunity exists to join the Enterprise Planning and Change team at the City of Melbourne as an Enterprise Change Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key role supporting enterprise-wide transformation and change initiatives across one of Australia's most dynamic local government organisations. Working within the Enterprise Planning and Insights Branch, you will help embed change management practices, tools and capability across the organisation, ensuring employees are supported through change and that projects achieve sustainable outcomes.

You will partner with leaders, project teams and stakeholders across Council to drive change adoption, minimise resistance and build organisational capability in change management.
