Job summary

Balance Recruitment and Balance Consulting seek brand new Government Contracts for Enterprise Architects on twelve-month assignments with a high probability of two extensions. Canberra hybrid work arrangements are available.

You will provide enterprise architecture consulting, governance and assurance services across multiple programs and technology domains, leading architecture reviews and roadmaps while collaborating with executives and delivery teams to realise strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture reviews and governance across programs
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, high level designs and roadmaps
• Advise executives and teams with risk-informed architecture decisions
• Collaborate on current and future state architectures and strategies
• Analyse business needs to define future state and capabilities

The job

These roles provide enterprise architecture consulting, governance and assurance services across multiple programs and technology domains.

Key responsibilities

Project architecture reviews, architecture assurance, cloud and infrastructure architecture, technology roadmaps, target-state architectures, standards, patterns, developing RFIs/RFQs, and architecture governance.

Multiple positions to be filled in the Cloud and Infrastructure, Application, Technology, and Data/AI Enterprise Architecture Domains.

• Leading and specialising in one or more of the identified Enterprise Architecture domains.
• Developing and maintaining reference architectures, high level designs, policies, principles, patterns, and guardrails for use by development and operations teams
• Collaborating on and developing current and future state architectures, strategies, and roadmaps
• Using professional judgement, experience, and risk analysis to provide timely and documented advice on complex digital architecture design to the Executive and technical teams
• Analysing business needs, goals and drivers against current capabilities and existing systems to define the future state required to achieve business goals
• Leadership and exemplary communication skills to foster a highly productive and business valued departmental architecture community, promoting collaboration, and sharing of skills and knowledge
