Balance Recruitment and Balance Consulting in Canberra seeks Enterprise Architects for multiple twelve-month government contracts with strong extension chances. These roles are based on a hybrid Canberra model and will work across several programs and technology domains.

You will deliver enterprise architecture consulting, governance and assurance, build roadmaps and reference architectures, and collaborate with executives and delivery teams to shape the future state.

Formación

• Provide enterprise architecture consulting across multiple programs and technology domains.
• Governance and assurance services across enterprise architecture activities.
• Develop technology roadmaps, target-state architectures, standards and patterns.
• Create RFIs/RFQs and support architecture governance processes.
• Analyse business needs and current capabilities to define future state architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Leading and specialising in one or more Enterprise Architecture domains.
• Developing and maintaining reference architectures, high level designs, policies, principles, patterns, and guardrails for use by development and operations teams.
• Collaborating on and developing current and future state architectures, strategies, and roadmaps.
• Using professional judgement, experience, and risk analysis to provide timely and documented advice on complex digital architecture design to the Executive and technical teams.
• Analysing business needs, goals and drivers against current capabilities and existing systems to define the future state required to achieve business goals.
• Leadership and exemplary communication skills to foster a highly productive and business-valued departmental architecture community.

The job

These roles provide enterprise architecture consulting, governance and assurance services across multiple programs and technology domains.

Key responsibilities

Project architecture reviews, architecture assurance, cloud and infrastructure architecture, technology roadmaps, target-state architectures, standards, patterns, developing RFIs/RFQs, and architecture governance.

Multiple positions to be filled in the Cloud and Infrastructure, Application, Technology, and Data/AI Enterprise Architecture Domains.

Key duties

• Leading and specialising in one or more of the identified Enterprise Architecture domains.
• Developing and maintaining reference architectures, high level designs, policies, principles, patterns, and guardrails for use by development and operations teams
• Collaborating on and developing current and future state architectures, strategies, and roadmaps
• Using professional judgement, experience, and risk analysis to provide timely and documented advice on complex digital architecture design to the Executive and technical teams
• Analysing business needs, goals and drivers against current capabilities and existing systems to define the future state required to achieve business goals
• Leadership and exemplary communication skills to foster a highly productive and business valued departmental architecture community, promoting collaboration, and sharing of skills and knowledge
