Job summary

Randstad Digital in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape enterprise-wide architecture across a multi-site organisation, collaborating with IT and senior leadership.

You will lead the EA function, establish guidelines and reference architectures, and drive roadmaps from current to target states while aligning initiatives with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience as an Enterprise Architect in large, complex organisations.
• Ability to present ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
• Strong grounding in EA frameworks with real-world application.
• Familiarity with EA modelling tools; Essential Cloud is a plus.
• Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Workday and Salesforce or CRM/ERP systems.
• Understanding governance, risk and compliance in regulated environments.
• Degree in business, computer science, systems analysis or related field.

Responsibilities

Permanent, full-time | Melbourne (City-based, other sites as required)

A large, complex Melbourne-based organisation is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join its Architecture & Software Engineering group. This is a chance to shape enterprise-wide architecture across a multi-site organisation, working closely with IT and senior leadership.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the development of the Enterprise Architecture function, setting the guidelines, frameworks and standards that guide decision-making


• Owning the strategic architecture lifecycle: roadmaps, current and target-state architectures, blueprints, principles and reference architecture


• Guiding Solution Architecture across projects, ensuring solutions align to target-state architecture


• Assessing current IT environments against future business needs to identify gaps and recommend improvements


• Establishing governance and assurance frameworks for architectural decision-making


• Translating business and technology strategy into enterprise architecture roadmaps


• Partnering across IT to plan and deliver architecture-related demand across the portfolio

What we're looking for

• Deep, hands-on experience as an Enterprise Architect in large, complex organisations, backed by a strong Solution Architecture background


• Confidence presenting ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives


• Strong grounding in EA frameworks with real-world application, not just theory


• Familiarity with EA modelling tools (experience with Essential Cloud is a plus)


• Exposure to major enterprise platforms such as Workday, Salesforce or CRM/ERP systems is desirable


• Understanding of governance, risk and compliance in a regulated environment


• A degree in business, computer science, systems analysis or a related field (or equivalent experience)
