Job summary

Emanate Technology is partnering with a federal government organisation to appoint experienced Enterprise Architects who can lead architecture governance, assurance and strategy across technology initiatives.

You will influence decisions across infrastructure, cloud, applications, data and AI, shaping future-state architecture with executives and delivery teams to reduce risk and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in Enterprise Architecture
• Strong background in Technology Infrastructure, Cloud, Applications, Data or AI domains
• Proven experience developing enterprise roadmaps and target-state architectures
• Experience conducting architecture governance and assurance activities
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks, standards and best practices
• Ability to produce reference architectures, standards and high-level designs
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence diverse audiences
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programs

• Conduct architecture reviews, governance activities and assurance assessments

• Work with delivery teams to improve architecture outcomes and reduce delivery risk
• Identify opportunities for technology rationalisation, reuse and standardisation
• Support architecture governance forums and decision‑making processes
• Contribute to the ongoing maturity of the enterprise architecture practice

About You

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in Enterprise Architecture
• Strong background in one or more domains including Technology, Infrastructure, Cloud, Applications, Data or AI
• Proven experience developing enterprise roadmaps, target-state architectures and architecture strategies
• Experience conducting architecture reviews, governance and assurance activities
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, standards and best practices
• Experience producing architecture artefacts including reference architectures, standards, policies and high-level designs
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to assess technology risk and provide practical, outcome-focused recommendations
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programs

Highly Regarded

• Federal Government experience
• Cloud architecture expertise across Azure, AWS or hybrid environments
• Data and AI architecture experience
• Experience supporting architecture governance boards and investment review processes
• Familiarity with cyber security frameworks and enterprise risk management
