Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead the ERP program in Canberra. This long-term contract role offers hybrid work with a minimum of three days in the office.

You will drive architecture governance, artefact development and alignment across Workday, ServiceNow and SAP, collaborating with vendors, security and IT operations to ensure a secure, scalable program.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing enterprise architecture leadership across ERP or corporate systems programs.
• Strong experience in integration, identity and access management, data architecture, reporting, cyber security, records management and service management.
• Proven ability to develop architecture artefacts and advise senior stakeholders and governance bodies.
• Experience reviewing vendor and implementation partner architecture deliverables.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, integration patterns and transition-to-operations activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise architecture leadership, governance and advisory services across the ERP Program lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain current-state, transition-state and target-state architecture artefacts across domains.
• Ensure alignment of Workday, ServiceNow and SAP with roadmaps, cloud strategy and security requirements.
• Prepare architecture papers, governance packs and diagrams for boards and committees.
• Identify and manage architecture risks, issues and dependencies.
• Lead cross-cutting architecture activities including integration, IAM, reporting and operations design patterns.
• Support ERP integration architecture, including API design, middleware and event flows.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, IT Operations, data owners, vendors and partners.
• Review solution architecture, integration design, environment design and data migration approaches.
• Support legacy decommissioning activities including SAP-related capabilities.

About The Role

Our Federal Government Client is seeking an Enterprise Architect (ERP Program).

This is a long-term contract role with an initial 6-month contract plus extension options, located in Canberra (ACT) with hybrid working arrangements (minimum 3 days per week in the office).

As The Selected Candidate, You Will

• Provide enterprise architecture leadership, governance, assurance and advisory services across the ERP Program lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain current-state, transition-state and target-state architecture artefacts across business, data, application, technology and security domains.
• Ensure alignment of Workday, ServiceNow and implementation partner solutions with enterprise architecture principles, technology roadmaps, cloud strategy and cyber security requirements.
• Prepare architecture advice, decision papers, governance packs and diagrams for Architecture Boards, Program Boards and Steering Committees.
• Identify and manage architecture risks, issues, dependencies, constraints and decision points.
• Lead architecture activities outside core platform configurations, including integration, identity, access management, reporting, monitoring and operational support design patterns.
• Support ERP integration architecture, including API design patterns, middleware, event flows, service boundaries, monitoring and operational support.
• Work collaboratively with Cyber Security, IT Operations, business stakeholders, data owners, vendors and implementation partners.
• Review and provide assurance over solution architecture, integration design, environment design, data migration approaches and transition-to-operations artefacts.
• Support legacy system decommissioning activities, including SAP-related capabilities, reporting continuity, records management and transition planning.

To be successful in this role you should have

• Demonstrated experience providing enterprise architecture leadership, governance and design assurance across complex ERP or corporate systems programs.
• Strong experience in enterprise architecture domains including integration, identity and access management, data architecture, reporting, cyber security, records management and service management.
• Proven ability to develop architecture artefacts and provide advice to senior stakeholders, governance boards and executive committees.
• Experience reviewing and assuring vendor and implementation partner architecture deliverables.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, integration patterns, operational support models and transition-to-operations activities.
• Experience working across large-scale business transformation and technology modernisation programs.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to identify and manage architecture risks, dependencies and governance requirements.

It is desirable if you have

• Experience working with Workday, ServiceNow and SAP environments.
• Experience collaborating with large implementation partners such as Accenture.
• Experience within the Australian Federal Government environment.
• Knowledge of ERP transformation programs covering finance, procurement, workforce management, payroll, travel, asset management and service management functions.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) clearance.
