Job summary

Alcoa of Australia Ltd is seeking an AI Architect to lead the design, implementation and governance of enterprise-grade AI solutions. You will set standards, bridge business requirements with technology, and guide Generative AI initiatives across the organisation.

You will oversee the full AI lifecycle, collaborate with global teams, and promote secure-by-design architectures within a hybrid, flexible work environment in Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
• Proven experience deploying large-scale AI solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage with global teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise AI standards, roadmaps, and end-to-end architectures.
• Guide teams on Generative AI, LLMs, and predictive analytics.
• Develop Azure-based platform architectures with a secure-by-design approach.
• Embed responsible AI, risk management, and security compliance into solutions.
• Collaborate with a global team of Architects to ensure fit-by-design solutions.
