Job summary

Alcoa is seeking an AI Architect to lead the design, implementation and governance of enterprise-grade AI solutions. This hands-on role sits in ITAS Technology Strategy, coordinating global teams across Rotterdam, Perth and beyond.

You will shape use cases, define end-to-end architectures, and drive secure, scalable AI programmes using Azure OpenAI, Databricks and MLOps. A collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in CS, DS, or engineering.
• Proven experience deploying large-scale AI solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management across time zones.
• Collaborative mindset with coaching focus.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise AI standards and roadmaps.
• Guide teams on Generative AI, LLMs, and analytics.
• Develop Azure-based platform architectures and blueprints.
• Embed responsible AI, risk management, and security into every solution.
• Collaborate with a global team of Architects to ensure fit-by-design solutions.
