Job summary

SA Health's Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Flinders Medical Centre ENT Department invites applications for an ENT Service Registrar. Join a surgical team delivering laryngology, sinus, and general ENT services with consultant support and clinical autonomy, in a 12-month full-time contract at Flinders Medical Centre.

You will perform surgical procedures on patients from the ENT waiting list, supervise junior staff, participate in teaching, and contribute to integrated care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Autonomous clinical practice at registrar level in ENT.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork.
• Strong time management and punctuality.
• Willingness to contribute to teaching and training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of care to ENT patients in hospital wards, theatres, ED and clinics.
• Perform ENT procedures on patients from the waiting list using available theatre capacity.
• Provide laryngology, sinus and general ENT services with consultant support.
• Ensure appropriate management in ED and Outpatients.
• Ensure accurate documentation, discharge summaries and follow-up plans.
• Supervise residents and students with Consultants and fellow Registrars.
• Participate in educational activities and contribute to team culture.
