Job summary
Echuca Regional Health is seeking recently or soon to be qualified Enrolled Nurses to begin their nursing careers through our Transition to Practice Program. This rotation-based program covers Acute and Aged Care, with strong support from our Education team to help you transition into professional practice.
You’ll be mentored in evidence-based nursing, perform comprehensive assessments, and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities for development and career progression
Qualifications
- Diploma of Nursing required.
- Current AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse required.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care and evaluate patient outcomes as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
- Maintain clinical competence and participate in ongoing education and training sessions to keep skills and knowledge current.
- Actively participate in quality improvement activities, unit meetings and committees as appropriate.
- Actively participate in in-house education and training programs.
