Job summary

GV Health's Tatura Campus is seeking an Enrolled Nurse Level 2 to provide and coordinate high-quality client-focused care for patients at the Tatura Hospital and Parkvilla Aged Care facility. The role requires effective time management, teamwork, and delivery of person-centred care, with escalation of deteriorating conditions as needed.

The successful candidate will work with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse in Charge, and Enrolled Nursing staff, while liaising with physicians and allied health

Qualifications

• Enrolled Nurse registration with the appropriate nursing board.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and deliver person-centred care.
• Experience in hospital/aged care settings is desirable.

• Provide and coordinate all aspects of quality client-focused nursing care.
• Identify early signs of patient deterioration and escalate appropriately.
• Collaborate with Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse in Charge and Enrolled Nursing staff; liaise with medical and allied health professionals.

About the role

The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating all aspects of quality client focused care to patients and residents of Tatura Hospital and Parkvilla Aged Care facility. The Enrolled Nurse is required to demonstrate effective time management, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and provide person centred care involving patient/residents/representative or families.

The Enrolled Nurse must be able to identify the early signs of patient/resident deterioration and ensure that the appropriate process is followed in escalation of care.

The position will involve collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse in Charge, and Enrolled Nursing staff. This role also requires liaison with medical practitioners and allied health staff. This position among others is responsible for promoting GV Health as a quality regional health service provider

Tatura Hospital provides acute hospital and palliative care services, in addition to pathology collection, podiatry, self-management support, transition care program and x-ray. The facility comprises of 8 beds.

The GV Health Tatura campus includes Parkvilla Aged Care Facility and the Tatura Hospital. Parkvilla is a residential aged care home for 13 residents and two transitional care clients and has the feel of a ‘home away from home.’
