Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District in Liverpool Hospital is seeking a compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join the Orthopaedic Trauma team. You will provide safe, patient-centred nursing care and support treatment plans under supervision, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, recent orthopaedics/trauma experience, and a commitment to culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
Recent nursing experience relevant to Orthopaedics, Trauma or acute care.
Commitment to safe, compassionate and culturally responsive patient care.
Strong communication, teamwork and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to recognise changes, think critically and upscale clinical concerns appropriately.

Responsibilities

Join the Orthopaedic Trauma team and provide safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care to patients throughout their treatment and recovery.
Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to care planning and work closely with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Assist in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating nursing care.
Support patients through their treatment, recovery and changing care needs.
Provide culturally responsive care that respects each patient’s individual needs.
Communicate effectively with patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
Contribute to quality improvement, workplace safety and risk management activities.
