Job summary

Brimlea Aged Care PTY LTD in Melbourne seeks an experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurse for a part-time night shift. You’ll provide person-centred care under supervision, ensure adherence to care plans and standards, and support residents with monitoring and documentation.

You will lead a small care team, coordinate clinical tasks, and work within Brimlea’s values. AHPRA registration and clear background checks are required.

• Commitment to safe medication administration and resident welfare.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses with a true passion for aged care and a strong focus on person centered care. You will work under the guidance of the Clinical Care Manager, with the Registered Nurseand in accordance with Brimlea Aged Care’s values, policies, and procedures to ensure all residents receive the highest possible care. You will:

• Provide excellent, person centred resident care
• Implement best practice nursing care according to the resident care plan and the Standards
• Monitor the condition and health of residents and record their progress
• Lead a team of Personal Care Workers and coordinate the completion of clinical care tasks and related clinical documentation.

About you

• Hold a valid qualification with current AHPRA registration
• Working knowledge of Accreditation Standards and Aged Care legislation is desired not mandatory
• Ensure safe medication administration, best practice wound care, and clinical support for our residents, in line with resident needs
• Satisfactory background checks, COVID and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
