Job summary

Austin Health's Spinal Rehabilitation Facility in Melbourne is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients with spinal cord injuries. You will educate patients, support self-management, and coordinate discharge planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role operates under a Primary Nursing model and offers opportunities for skill development within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
• Must hold NMBA-approved qualification in administration of medicines.
• Twelve months clinical experience post initial registration.
• Commitment to Austin Health values and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for patients with spinal cord injuries.
• Provide patient education and support to enhance self-management post discharge.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Work within a Primary Nursing model, building therapeutic relationships with patients.
