Job summary

A Registered Nurse Grade 2 at Austin Health will plan, implement and evaluate nursing care across clinical areas, recognising and responding to patient changes, and collaborating with patients, families and the healthcare team to achieve outcomes.

You will contribute to supervision and support of nursing students and colleagues, uphold professional standards and pursue ongoing learning within the Nursing Workforce Unit to strengthen clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia registration.
• Minimum 12 months acute clinical experience post registration.
• Commitment to quality, best practice and environmental safety.
• Patient-focused, evidence-based care delivery.
• Willingness to work across Austin Health campuses as service needs require.
• Flexible, innovative and team-oriented approach to service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within current scope of practice.
