Job summary

Barwon Health Geelong is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide patient-focused, holistic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will contribute to delivering and evaluating individualised patient care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

This 32-bed unit, Baxter 7, covers general medicine, endocrinology and infectious diseases. The role emphasises evidence-based, consumer-centred care, effective communication, and accurate documentation to support positive patient

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 12 months EN experience; acute setting desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality and consumer-centred nursing care in line with best practice standards.
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other health professionals to support patient care.

About The Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide patient-focused, holistic nursing care to support positive clinical outcomes. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to the delivery and evaluation of individualised patient care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

About Baxter 7

Baxter 7 is a 32 bed General Medical unit encompassing general medicine, endocrinology and infectious diseases. The staff are highly-skilled, professional, friendly and dedicated, taking pride in providing high-quality, safe healthcare. University Hospital Geelong is located in the heart of central Geelong, minutes from the picturesque waterfront and a short drive to the Bellarine and Surf Coast.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in supporting positive patient outcomes through effective communication, clinical assessment, and care planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality and consumer-centred nursing care in line with best practice standards
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other health professionals to support patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and contribute to quality and safety initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
• Minimum 12 months experience as an EN, experience within an acute setting highly desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
• A motivated and compassionate approach, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
