Job summary

Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for Greenwood Manor Aged Care in a 12-month fixed-term role. Shifts are Tue, Wed and Thu 07:00–15:00, delivering compassionate, clinical care in a 52-bed home with strong team support.

You will contribute to resident wellbeing, manage medications, wound care, and partner with GPs, while developing professional skills in a family-owned organisation that values progress and resident-focused care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an enrolled nurse.
• Diploma of Nursing is required.
• Police check, influenza and COVID-19 vaccination evidence.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person-centred clinical care including medication rounds and wound care.
• Liaise with visiting GPs and allied health providers.
• Lead and supervise carers and support personal care duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic systems.
• Follow hygiene, infection control and safety practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and aged care standards compliance.

About the Role:

We have a 12-month fixed term part-time opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse at Greenwood Manor Aged Care. The shifts for this role are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 0700 - 1500.

Play a vital role in the wellbeing, comfort and safety of our residents. You’ll use your clinical skills in medication rounds, wound care and other specialised areas to make a meaningful difference to the lives of older Australians, with a team that backs your growth every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, person-centered clinical care, including medication rounds and wound care
• Liaise with visiting GPs and allied health providers
• Lead and supervise Carers as required, and support the team with some personal care duties where needed
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high quality resident care
• Maintain accurate documentation using our electronic systems
• Follow hygiene, infection control and safety practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement, OH&S and compliance with aged care standards

Experience and Qualifications:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, positive approach
• Computer and documentation skills
• Demonstrated hygiene and safety practices in aged care
• Diploma of Nursing (required)
• Current Employment Police Check (required)
• Evidence of seasonal influenza vaccination (required)
• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (required)
• Australian Working rights (required)
• Desirable: 2 years’ experience in aged care, and an understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and AN-ACC requirements
