Job summary

Senior Helpers Melton is seeking Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses to support clients at home, delivering compassionate, person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans. Roles may include personal care, daily living tasks, companionship, and in-home nursing depending on qualifications.

You will work in the community with a supportive team, ensuring dignity and comfort for clients while adhering to care plans and safety requirements. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Current National Police Check (mandatory)
• Current driver�s licence and access to comprehensively insured private vehicle (mandatory)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (mandatory)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, where applicable
• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (for Enrolled Nurse positions)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred support in accordance with care plans
• Assist with personal care, daily living, and domestic tasks
• Maintain clients� independence, dignity and quality of life at home
• Provide in-home nursing care to aged care clients (Enrolled Nurses)
• Communicate effectively with the wider team while working independently in the community

Job description

As a Personal Care Worker or Enrolled Nurse, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and wellbeing in their own homes. Working in accordance with individual care plans, you will deliver person-centred support that recognises each client's unique needs, preferences, and goals. Depending on your role and qualifications, your responsibilities may include personal care, domestic assistance, companionship, daily living support, and in-home nursing care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred support tailored to each client's needs in accordance with individual care plans
• Assist clients with personal care, daily living support, and domestic assistance
• Maintain clients' independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes
• Provide in-home nursing care to aged care clients (Enrolled Nurses)
• Work confidently and independently in the community while communicating effectively with the wider team
• Treat every client with dignity, respect, and kindness
• Undertake domestic assistance as part of supporting clients in the community

About you

• Current National Police Check (mandatory)
