Job summary

Respect is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for our aged care residence in Regional Australia. The role is casual, supporting Registered Nurses and care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across the community.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma of Nursing with current AHPRA registration, plus at least 2 years of post-graduate experience, preferably in aged care, and understands care planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
• Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing assessments with residents and families to identify care needs and support individualised care planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation reflecting care delivery and resident outcomes.
• Administer medications safely and ensure correct handling, storage and record-keeping.
• Monitor residents’ health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team.
• Participate in team handovers and care planning discussions to promote a safe and respectful environment.
