Job summary

Respect, the largest aged care provider in Regional Australia, is seeking dedicated Enrolled Nurses to join RM Begg on a casual basis. You will work with Registered Nurses to support resident care, administer medications, and contribute to a respectful, person‑centred environment in our 90‑room residence.

You will bring a Diploma of Nursing, current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, and at least 2 years post‑graduate clinical experience (aged care preferred).

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years post‑graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
• Strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
• Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, clinical documentation, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
• Understanding of aged care accreditation processes and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person‑centred care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing assessments with residents and families to identify care needs and support individualised care planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects care delivery and resident outcomes.
• Administer medications safely and ensure correct handling, storage, and record‑keeping.
• Monitor residents’ health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team in delivering safe, person‑centred care.
• Participate in team handovers, care planning discussions, and initiatives that promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.
