Job summary

BaptistCare Amberlea Community in Drouin, VIC is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for casual shifts to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred clinical care within a busy aged care setting. You’ll lead and support the care team and maintain strong relationships with residents and families.

You'll need current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no conditions or undertakings) and have experience in aged care or with elderly people.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no conditions or undertakings)
• Experience in aged care or with elderly people (highly desirable but not essential)
• Confident in clinical environments — you’re comfortable guiding a care team and holding the standard
• Strong communicator — clear, respectful, and consistent with residents, families, and staff
• Comfortable with basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Hold or be willing to obtain a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Proof of working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care that keeps residents’ health, wellbeing, and dignity at the centre
• Lead and support care staff, ensuring practice is within scope and standards are upheld
• Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and colleagues
• Ensure safe and compliant medication management
• Contribute actively to continuous improvement and clinical governance
• Maintain your own professional development and currency within your scope of practice
