Job summary

ARRCS is recruiting an Enrolled Nurse to support clinical care for residents and home care clients across remote communities in Central Australia. You will provide direct nursing care, participate in a rotating day/night roster, and offer mentorship to junior staff, ensuring person-centred care in line with ARRCS standards.

The role requires ARHPSA registration, appropriate nursing qualifications, and experience in aged care.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Registered Nurse.
• AQF Diploma in Nursing or higher qualification.
• At least 12 months of full-time work experience (post-qualification) in the last 5 years.
• Ability to liaise with a care team and provide mentorship.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice.
• Understanding of resident-centred and residential-based care services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor and review care plans to meet health needs and promote quality of life.
• Report changes or concerns in a resident’s condition.
• Provide nursing care within the scope of clinical practice.
• Ensure resident care is assessed, planned and implemented per ARRCS model of care.
• Assist in research relevant to clinical matters.
• Assist individuals to participate in programs and recreational activities.
• Monitor and delegate personal care among staff in line with the ARRCS Medical Manual.
