Job summary

Strathalbyn Hospital is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team in a supportive regional health setting. You will work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver person-centred care, expand clinical experience, and contribute to patient education and quality improvement initiatives in an ongoing part-time role.

We value teamwork, professional development, and culturally safe care with Aboriginal communities, in a friendly, rural community environment.

Qualifications

• Registered as Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families.
• Team-oriented with willingness to supervise and support assistants and students.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, high-quality patient care, including assessments and routine clinical procedures.
• Works under direction of a Registered Nurse to plan, prioritise and complete care within scope.
• Provides patient education to patients, families and carers.
• Supports team-based care and staff development, including supervising assistants and students.
