Job summary

Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network – Hawker is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide direct, person-centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care and will prioritise your workload while reporting changes in patients’ conditions.

About the Role:

You will provide direct person‑centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, while maintaining accountability for your own practice. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritise your workload, recognise and report changes in patients’ clinical conditions, and contribute to the delivery of safe, high‑quality care in accordance with professional standards and relevant legislation.

  • Enrolled or eligible for enrolment with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, recognise and report changes in clinical condition, and provide person‑centred care.
  • Demonstrated experience providing nursing care in a healthcare setting in accordance with relevant standards of practice.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Enrolled Nurse role, relevant legislation, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards.
