Job summary

Western NSW Local Health District invites applications for two permanent Enrolled Nurse positions serving Eugoworra MPS and Canowindra Health Service. You will deliver care in a rural setting across aged care, Walk-In Health, and community nursing, with shared duties across sites.

The role requires NSW partical registration, a valid NSW driver’s licence, and a commitment to patient-centred, nurse-led care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Current licence to drive in NSW.
• Enrolled Nurse with NSW registration.
• Willingness to work 38 hours per week.
• Roles shared between Eugoworra MPS and Canowindra Health Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health services to Eugoworra and Canowindra communities as part of a small, dynamic healthcare team.
• Support residential aged care, walk-in health centre, and community nursing services.
• Contribute to nurse-led care and participate in clinical decision-making for client care.

About the role

Be part of a small and dynamic team of healthcare professionals delivering health services to our local Eugowra and Canowindra communities. Eugowra MPS provides residential aged care beds, a Walk-In Health centre and community nursing and physiotherapy services. Canowindra Health Service provides acute and sub-acute in-patient services alongside emergency and a variety of allied health out-patient presentations and community nursing. We currently have 2 permanent opportunities available. These roles are shared between Eugowra Multi Purpose Service and Canowindra Health Service. You will have a Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes. Rural nursing is nurse-led care, so nurses are a key part of the decision-making process for client care and have more influence on healthcare delivery.
