Job summary

Respect Autumn Lodge in Macksville is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to support the health, wellbeing and daily quality of life of residents, working alongside Registered Nurses and care staff.

You will build genuine relationships with residents and families, administer medications safely, contribute to care plans and handovers, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in a compassionate, team‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged care or willingness to transfer nursing skills.
• Experience in clinical documentation and care planning.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Screening Clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident admissions and ongoing clinical assessments.
• Contribute to individualised care plans and monitor resident wellbeing.
• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate medication records.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, care staff, residents and families.
• Participate in handovers and care planning to support quality resident care.
• Help create a welcoming environment where residents feel valued.

About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll work alongside Registered Nurses and care staff to support the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.

No two days are the same. You'll:

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• A qualified Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Confident using your clinical skills and judgement to support resident care.
• Experienced in clinical documentation and care planning.
• Passionate about providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Reliable, adaptable and willing to contribute to a positive team environment.
• Experienced in aged care, or interested in bringing your nursing experience into the aged care environment.

You'll also need a current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or the ability to obtain these.
