Job summary

Jewish Care Victoria is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our residential home. You will provide skilled, compassionate care to residents, supported by a dedicated team in a beautiful facility.

The role emphasizes medication administration, care planning and thorough documentation, with ongoing professional development and a strong culture of respect and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Mandatory medication competency and safe administration practices.
• Experience working in an aged care environment is essential.
• Knowledge of AN‑AAC guidelines is required.
• Must have permanent residency or Australian citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high care standards in line with policy and accreditation.
• Collaborate with the nursing team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Document resident health and wellbeing accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and manage ordering, storage and documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge for coordinating emergency situations.

About you

You are a deeply committed to supporting and caring for people through their later years, to ensure the provision of skilled, individualised nursing and personal care services are always present for our residents. We are seeking qualified, enthusiastic and team-oriented Enrolled Nurses to work at our beautiful residential home.

You will be a great fit if you have

• Medication Competency
• Experience working in an aged care environment
• Good working knowledge of AN-AAC.
• Have permanent residency or citizenship in Australia

Responsibilities

• Ensure high care standards are provided in accordance policy and procedures and accreditation standards.
• Work as a member of the nursing team and assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
• Ensure all documentation accurately reflects resident health and wellbeing and is relevant to care needs.
• In accordance with standards, policies and procedures, administer medications to residents and assume responsibility for correct ordering, storage and documentation procedures in relation to medications.
• Maintain current knowledge and ability to coordinate emergency situations.
