Job summary

Jewish Care Victoria is seeking a Qualified Registered Nurse to oversee clinical care across our residence under the Clinical Support Manager. You will support nursing and care teams, guide staff on complex clinical matters, and ensure practice meets legislative requirements, organisational policies and the Aged Care Quality Standards.

• Qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience with at least 1 year of leadership in roles such as CCC, RM, in charge, NUM or ANUM.
• Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, AN-ACC, accreditation requirements, and NQIP data.
• Demonstrated ability to provide contemporary, person-centred care and guide staff effectively.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and digital literacy skills.
• Initiative, sound judgement, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Job description

Working under the direction of the Clinical Support Manager, you will coordinate and oversee clinical care across the residence. You will support nursing and care teams, provide guidance on complex clinical matters, and help ensure practice meets legislative requirements, organisational policies and the Aged Care Quality Standards.

You will be great if you have

• Qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• At least minimum 3 to 4 years of experience at least 1 year of leadership experience at a similar role i.e. CCC, could have been an RM, in charge, NUM or ANUM.
• Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, AN-ACC, accreditation requirements, and NQIP data.
• Demonstrated ability to provide contemporary, person-centred care and guide staff effectively.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and digital literacy skills.
• Initiative, sound judgement, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Desirable:

Infection Prevention and Control Lead certification, or progress towards certification, and experience using systems such as LeeCare, RiskMan and Microsoft Outlook.
