Job summary

Aveo Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living in Brisbane is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide high quality in-home nursing support and social care within a community setting. This casual, ad-hoc role focuses on independence and wellbeing while delivering planned care in residents’ units.

You will work under the Aveo care framework, maintain regulatory standards, complete documentation in Alayacare, and liaise with GPs, families and team members to ensure compassionate, person-centred care across

• Minimum 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Division 2 AHPRA registration and current CPR certificate.
• Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude in community care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home nursing support, including medical assistance and wound care.
• Deliver personal care and daily living support per care plans.
• Liaise with residents, families, GPs and team members.
• Maintain resident notes and documentation in Care Management System (Alayacare).
• Follow Aveo OH&S policies and report safety incidents.

The Opportunity

Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living offers relaxed retirement living in a serene, leafy setting just 18km from Brisbane’s CBD. Direct access to local shopping, nearby parks and excellent transport links makes day-to-day living easy. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care, social support and medical assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Enrolled Nurses have a strong focus on clinical standards, promoting independence and building connections with residents in a community-style environment.

This is a casual role, helping our team on an ad-hocbasis with covering leave or when we need an extra pair of hands!

Your Impact

• Work independently within resident units to provide in-home nursing support, including medical assistance, wound care, personal hygiene and general daily support
• Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as fellow team members, family members, paramedics or GPs
• Complete administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date in our Care Management System (Alayacare)
• Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse, with a passion for community care, independence and wellbeing
• Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
• Strong communication skills, with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents
• Division 2 AHPRA registration, current CPR certificate
• Valid driver' s licence + vehicle (highly regarded)
