Juniper Aged Care is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Juniper Cygnet Residential Aged Care Facility in Bentley. You will provide professional nursing care to residents and guide care staff within the scope of your registration.

This permanent part-time role requires commitment to the listed weekly shifts and a person-centred care approach. We offer competitive hourly remuneration and benefits in a non-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA is essential.
• Aged care experience is desirable.
• Wound care experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Understanding of Occupational Safety and Health in health care settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent time management.

About the role:

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the friendly and supportive team at our Juniper Cygnet Residential Aged Care Facility in Bentley. Juniper Cygnet Residential Aged Care Home is a warm and friendly home where residents enjoy a close-knit community and strong social network. The home features 42 rooms and prides itself on the provision of individualized support through our person-centered care approach.

Whilst working as an Enrolled Nurse you will provide professional nursing care for residents within the scope of your Enrolled Nurse registration. You will provide guidance and supervision to care staff; ensuring person-centered care principles are embraced and embedded during service provision to residents. Whilst working in this rewarding role you will assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in the Residential care setting.

There is permanent part-time position available, the suitable candidate must be available to commit to the following vacant shifts:

Week 1

• Tuesday: 15:00pm-23:15pm
• Wednesday: 15:00pm-23:15pm
• Friday: 15:00pm-23:15pm
• Saturday: 15:00pm-23:15pm
• Sunday: 15:00pm-23:15pm

Week 2

• Monday: 15:00pm-23:15pm
• Tuesday: 15:00pm-23:15pm
• Wednesday: 15:00pm-23:15pm
• Saturday: 07:00am-15:15pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision of clinical care to residents according to care plan
• Safe administration of medications

Key requirements:

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
• Previous experience in aged care – desirable
• Wound care experience - desirable

• Excellent time management
