Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District’s Armidale Hospital is recruiting Enrolled Nurses to join the Surgical Ward. You will deliver safe, patient-centred care across general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology and medicine, contributing to the patient’s hospital journey.

You’ll work with an experienced multidisciplinary team, develop your clinical skills, and access comprehensive orientation and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current Enrolled Nurse AHPRA registration.
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise care and respond to changing patient needs.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to manage challenging situations.
• Acute or surgical nursing experience is desirable but not essential.

You’re a passionate Enrolled Nurse who is committed to safe, respectful and person-centred care and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. You’ll bring:

• Current Enrolled Nurse AHPRA registration.
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise care and respond to changing patient needs.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to manage challenging situations.

Acute or surgical nursing experience is desirable but not essential. Enrolled Nurses who are motivated to learn, grow and develop their clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
