Job summary

Altaira is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated team, working within various aged care facilities across Adelaide metro and regional areas. You have the flexibility to choose your preferred working hours and locations, with competitive hourly rates and a range of perks and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration with no conditions.
• National Police Clearance
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• First Aid Certificate / CPR
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care in line with care plans, policies, and ANMC standards.
• Provide personal care and support to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with scope of practice.
• Follow direction of Registered Nurses and escalated clinical concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Communicate clinical updates clearly and confidentially to relevant stakeholders.
• Practise within scope, ensuring accountability and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff, volunteers, and students as required.
• Support induction of new and agency staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Report incidents promptly in line with reporting requirements.
• Act as senior staff member on shift when required, including responding to emergencies.

What you'll do:
