Job summary

St Benedict's Catholic College, Oran Park, NSW, is seeking a dedicated English teacher for a permanent full-time appointment commencing late January 2027. You will teach English to Years 7–12, support growth in faith and learning, and contribute to a safe, orderly classroom environment in line with PB4L.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
• Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
• Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in English.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.
