Job summary

SchoolHouse is partnering with a long-established Catholic secondary school in Regional Victoria, commutable from Melbourne, to appoint an English Teacher. The role is full-time and ongoing with a start in January 2027.

The school values a culture of excellence and student growth. The successful applicant will hold a teaching qualification suitable for secondary English, VIT registration (or eligibility), and Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Master of Teaching or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Education or PGCE acceptable for secondary English.
• VIT registration or eligibility to gain, and Australian working rights (including Skilled Migrant Visa) required.

Responsibilities

• Teach English and/or English Language to secondary students.
• Plan and implement engaging literacy and language programs.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback in line with school policies.
