Norwest Christian College is seeking an English Teacher to join our Riverstone-based community from Term 1, 2027. This full-time role suits a passionate English educator committed to Christian education and helping students grow in faith, character and purpose.

The successful candidate will contribute to the English team, align with Stage 4-5 Syllabus, and develop resources and lessons including project-based learning, with knowledge of Stage 6 Syllabus and NESA requirements.

Your Role:

• Contribute dynamically to the English team by working collaboratively to create rich learning experiences that strengthen students academically and support the development of positive learning dispositions.
• Bring previous experience, or demonstrate the capacity to develop resources, assessment tasks and lessons that align with the new Stage 4-5 English Syllabus, including the meaningful use of technology and project-based learning where appropriate.
• Demonstrate the capacity and willingness to teach Stage 6 English courses, with knowledge of syllabus requirements and an understanding of NESA requirements for Stage 6 English.
• Have strong communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to build strong connections with students, staff and the wider school community.
