Mount St Joseph Catholic College Milperra is recruiting an English/ Religious Education teacher with a view to appointing a Newman Coordinator in due course. The role is full-time and permanent, based at Milperra, with a strong Catholic education focus and opportunities for professional growth.

You will teach English and RE, bring a commitment to inclusive practice, robust classroom management, and contribute to student wellbeing. A tertiary Education degree and NESA accreditation are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• Strong expertise in English and Religious Education.
• Excellent classroom management and student wellbeing focus.
• Ability to design inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
• Gifted & Talented Qualifications preferred for Newman Coordinator role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver English and Religious Education lessons to students.
• Plan, assess and report on student progress in line with OSH & school policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student wellbeing and inclusive practices.
• Potential to undertake the Newman Coordinator role and lead related initiatives.
