Job summary

Qualifications

• General: Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
• General: Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with ability to lead inclusive programs.
• General: Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance of individuals and teams.
• General: Well developed communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff and parents.
• General: Ability to plan and manage resources effectively to support teaching and learning.
• General: Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal education policy.

Responsibilities

• Specific: Prove n ability to work collaboratively to lead development and implementation of engaging, differentiated learning experiences for EAL/D students.
• Specific: Analyze data to identify student learning needs and drive continuous improvement in EAL/D education and literacy.
• Specific: Supervise and lead faculty teams, fostering collaboration and targeted teacher professional learning for literacy.
