Job summary

Babcock Adelaide is seeking an Engineering Team Lead - Recurring Services to lead a capable engineering team delivering safe, timely outcomes across 250+ defence asset types. You’ll oversee governance, investigations, risk assessments and the creation of critical artefacts for sustainment of Defence capability.

In this role you’ll drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, mentoring staff and collaborating with customers, regulators and technical authorities in a complex defence

Qualifications

• Extensive relevant experience in relatable technical/engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of engineering toolsets and governance.
• Accredited engineering degree to be eligible for Professional Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing engineering team supporting Defence capability.
• Oversee technical investigations, risk assessments and decision-making.
• Deliver engineering artefacts including Engineering Responses, ECPs, Hazard Logs, Safety Case Reports and Test & Evaluation Plans.
• Support through-life knowledge management and continuous improvement for sustainment of Defence capability.
