Job summary

The City of Coffs Harbour seeks an Engineering Surveyor to deliver accurate survey information turning plans into reality across roads, drainage and public spaces.

You will be involved in field surveys, data collection, construction set-out and Work-as-Executed documentation while collaborating with designers and construction teams. Modern surveying tech and a community impact are core aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a Diploma in Surveying, Civil Construction (Design) or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with modern surveying technologies such as GPS, total stations and digital survey software will be highly regarded.
• Comfortable working across field and office environments and delivering accurate construction set-out and Work-as-Executed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake field surveys and collect spatial data.
• Set out construction works and prepare Work-as-Executed documentation.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers and construction teams to solve technical challenges.
• Interpret engineering drawings and manage survey data.
