See your work come to life, from survey mark to completed infrastructure
As an Engineering Surveyor with the City of Coffs Harbour, you'll play a key role in delivering the infrastructure our community relies on every day. From roads and drainage to public spaces and civil construction projects, you'll provide the accurate survey information that turns engineering plans into reality.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. One day you may be undertaking field surveys and collecting spatial data, the next you're setting out construction works, preparing Work-as-Executed plans, or collaborating with designers, project managers and construction teams to solve technical challenges. Working as part of our Asset Services team, you'll have the opportunity to utilise modern surveying technology, contribute to a growing region and see the direct impact of your work across the city.
Please refer to the Position Description for a more detailed understanding of the role.
Qualified with a Diploma in Surveying, Civil Construction (Design) or a related technical discipline, you enjoy the mix of field work, technology and problem-solving that comes with engineering surveying. Comfortable working across both field and office environments, you can interpret engineering drawings, collect and manage survey data, and deliver accurate construction set-out and Work-as-Executed documentation. Experience with modern surveying technologies such as GPS, total stations and digital survey software will be highly regarded. Above all, you're someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working collaboratively with project teams and contributing to infrastructure projects that make a visible difference in the community.
