Asset Survey Solutions is a specialist survey and subsurface utility company delivering a major renewable energy project in regional South Australia. We seek a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join the site team for the duration of the project, delivering precise set-outs, IFC refinement and robust QA.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering/construction surveying, strong GNSS/robotic total station skills, and Experience with machine control files.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of engineering/construction survey experience.
• Proven experience refining IFC drawings and setting out structures.
• Wind, solar, BESS or substation experience highly regarded.
• Experience building and managing machine control files for excavators.
• Current driver’s licence and White Card.
• Safety-first, self-managing and reliable on a regional site.

Aufgaben

• Review and refine IFC design drawings and models, raise RFIs.
• Set-out of structures including turbine foundations, hardstands, substations and civil works.
• Prepare setout models, surfaces and machine control files.
• Establish and maintain control networks.
• As-built survey, data processing, QA and reporting.

• Collaborate with project engineers and construction teams.
• Work 50-hour weeks with alternate Saturdays.

Asset Survey Solutions is a specialist survey and subsurface utility company operating across VIC, QLD and SA. We're engaged on a major renewable energy project in regional South Australia with 2-3 years of work remaining, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Surveyor to join the site team for the duration.

The role

• Reviewing and refining IFC design drawings and models, identifying issues early and raising RFIs
• Set-out of structures, including turbine foundations, hardstands, substations and associated civil works
• Preparing setout models, surfaces and machine control files
• Control network establishment and maintenance
• As-built survey, data processing, QA and reporting
• Training and mentoring less experienced surveyors on site
• Working closely with project engineers and construction teams
• 50-hour weeks plus alternate Saturdays

About you

• Minimum 5 years' engineering/construction survey experience
• Proven experience refining IFC drawings and setting out structures
• Wind, solar, BESS or substation experience highly regarded
• Strong with GNSS and robotic total stations (Trimble and TBC highly regarded), plus 12d and AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar
• Experience building and managing machine control files for excavators (Trimble Earthworks or similar) desirable
• Confident training and leading junior surveyors
• Degree or diploma in Surveying/Spatial Science, or equivalent experience
• Current driver's licence and White Card
• Safety-first, self-managing and reliable on a regional site
